20000 Miles later...

Okay so Each year I take a guy from work and we go on a day trip in Pennsylvania, i map out the route and go from there.
Last year, we hit route 104 clear up till it ends, then worked our way over to a town called renovo.
IF you ride in pa and have never taken the scenic byway out of renovo, DO EEEET.

Another good ride which my wife and I have gone, is route 209 from Halifax clear up to route 6 across to Mansfield then back down to Harrisburg on 15.

I need to mention that my friend had a BMW 1200rr, and it is fast. So all the routes i take are well known to have twistys and curves. most cambered at the right point for hard curve taking.
This year, we headed out from burnt cabins clean out to raystown lake and back. about 7 hrs riding.
If you can imagine a half pipe for skate boards, we just used the two mountainsides as our half pipe and stayed between them. Beautiful scenery and oddly enough that day we met up with a auto mechanic from Bobs BMW out of Baltimore. He road the whole way up to Perry county to take a day trip. Its so fun meeting other happy bikers from all over while riding. Its not fun meeting snot nosed little harley nut jobs who think they are too good to intermingle with the rest of us. That urks me to no end. Ive met angels that are soe of the nicest guys in the world and love talking about life, and then Ive met ignoramouses that wont even look at you. I mena what gives!?!? We are all out there riding, either for fun or for another reason but the point is...we are out there riding.  Lifes too short to be a pric. gee wiz. Anyhooser the wife did not ride this year, because she was prgnat with our first child. WOOHOOO IM A DADDY!!! lol...everyone says ...well there goes your riding days.....uhm...no nope noperooni. last year my wife and i did 10k and this year from going to work and back and day trip, i hit another 10 this year. all in all the bike is a monster. Ive sent it up mountainsides that it shouldnt have gone up...ive gone highways with ease...this truly is an all sport bike.

WHY!?!?!?

This Blog will be of my wife and I on our bike trip adventures in Pa. There is just so much to see in pa and somany back roads to be found and conquered. Last year we did 10000 miles on our vstrom in pa alone. not so much this year, but still some riding. ill be posting pics here.
